At the very edge of Europe, the land breaks into golden cliffs and the Atlantic crashes in with full force. Hidden caves, wild beaches, dusty hills, endless sunsets — this coastline feels like it was made for adventure.

Last year we gathered a small crew and spent a week exploring it the best way we know: surfing Atlantic waves, hiking along cliffs above the ocean, discovering sea caves from the water, chasing sunsets, and ending the days tired, salty, and happy.

It became one of those trips people still talk about.

So this year we’re doing it again.

Algarve Adventure is not a passive holiday.
It’s eight days of movement, ocean energy, good people, and experiences that pull you out of routine and drop you straight into the wild rhythm of the Atlantic.

WHAT AWAITS US

– Base of operations: a luxury villa in Albufeira, our fortress equipped with a swimming pool, squash court, cinema and games room.

– Wave domination: 2 intense days of surfing on the Atlantic and 1 SUP tour exploring the mysterious sea caves of São Rafael.

– Extreme exploration: a spectacular hike on the famous Seven Hanging Valleys trail, challenging the heights above the golden cliffs.

– Adrenaline on wheels: 1 ATV tour across the rough and dusty terrain around Albufeira.

– Active recovery: 3 yoga sessions to release tension from the muscles after intense days of activity.

Kitesurfing
May is excellent for kite! Those bringing their own equipment are free to ride. For those who don’t have gear, we can help arrange equipment and an instructor on request — but you must let us know in advance.

PROGRAM

Day 1 – Landing on the Atlantic Coast

The adventure begins with a flight toward the heart of the action, leaving behind the numbness of spring. Once we arrive at Faro Airport, we collect our rental cars (one car for every 4 participants) and drive to our luxury villa in Albufeira. We settle into our rooms and, in the evening, enjoy the first Portuguese sunset while planning our strategy with our small crew of only 8 participants.

Day 2 – First confrontation with the ocean

We prepare our bodies with the first of the 3 yoga sessions. Then we grab our boards and jump into the Atlantic waves on empty beaches for an intense surfing session, where instructors will help us catch the rhythm. In the afternoon we retreat to the villa for a squash competition or a movie in our private cinema.

Day 3 – On the edge at Seven Hanging Valleys

Today we go searching for the heart of the Algarve on a hike along the Seven Hanging Valleys coastal trail, right on the edge of steep limestone cliffs. The vast ocean horizon and the contrasting colors of the coastline will take our breath away with every step. Those who want an extra dose of exploration can opt today for a kayak tour to the famous Benagil Caves. In the evening we hunt for a spot high on the cliffs to watch an unforgettable sunset.

Day 4 – Secret caves from the water

We change tactics and attack the cliffs from the sea. We take a SUP tour, paddling between sharp rock formations into the heart of the São Rafael caves. After getting our fill of water and beach time, we return to the villa for relaxation by the pool and another yoga session.

Day 5 – Off-road and deep exploration

Engines at full throttle! We jump on ATVs for an adrenaline-filled tour through the wild surroundings of Albufeira, full of dust and absolute freedom. If land isn’t enough, in the afternoon you can choose an optional scuba diving session in the cold and clear waters of the Atlantic.

Day 6 – 100% Surf & Kite

The stakes on the water get even higher! Today we dedicate another day to improving our skills on the board, riding the waves alongside instructors. If the wind is good and you opted for kitesurfing, this is the perfect moment to launch your kite into the sky.

Day 7 – Recovery and final adventure

In the morning we regain balance with a final yoga session. The remaining time is ours: one last swim in the quiet May beaches, exploring a new area with the cars, or a relaxed tournament in the games room.

Day 8 – To be continued

We say goodbye to the land of waves and cliffs. We get back into the rental cars and drive to Faro Airport, marking the end of an intense expedition. We return home stronger and ready for the next challenge.

Breakfast is NOT included. All meals will be on your own account, giving us the flexibility to explore the local gastronomy. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen and barbecue that can be used for shared dinners. There are numerous restaurants and taverns nearby.
