For the beginning of summer, we move our base of operations to Luz — the kind of place where you want time to stop. A charming village perfectly tucked between spectacular cliffs and the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic, where the vibe is relaxed, taverns smell of fresh fish, and cobbled streets lead straight down to the beach.

This edition keeps the pure spirit of an expedition and the maximum dose of action — a direct clash with the power of the ocean alongside an epic crew of explorers. We keep the program dynamic, chasing the best waves at Arrifana and exploring the coast on our own, driving our rental cars.

This is not just a holiday — it’s an experience that will push you out of your comfort zone and reconnect you with nature and with yourself.

WHAT AWAITS US

Base of operations
We stay in a private luxury villa with a pool, located in the village of Luz.

Wave domination
2 intense days of surfing on the famous beaches of Arrifana or Cordoama (chosen depending on wave and wind conditions). Arrifana is the place where surfers fall in love with the ocean, known for perfect waves and an authentic surf vibe.

Secret caves from the water
1 SUP tour in Lagos, following a peaceful route between hidden coves, cliffs sculpted by thousands of years of ocean power, and turquoise waters.

Sunset exploration
A spectacular hike along the cliffs on the Luz – Lagos coastal trail, exactly when the sun melts into the ocean.

Adrenaline on wheels
1 buggy/ATV tour exploring the off-road hills and wild landscapes around Albufeira.

Active recovery
3 yoga sessions on the beach to help your body recover after action-packed days.

Extra experiences (optional)
Kitesurfing in Lagos or Alvor, scuba diving in the Atlantic, or kayaking to the famous Benagil Caves.

PROGRAM

Day 1 – Bucharest – Faro – Landing in Luz

We fly to Faro, leaving behind the chaos of everyday life. After landing, we pick up the rental cars (one car for every four participants) and drive along the coast toward Luz. We settle into our beautiful villa with a pool. In the evening we open a bottle of wine, get to know each other, and plan the adventure together.

Day 2 – First confrontation with the ocean

We jump into the cars and head toward Arrifana or Cordoama. A full surf day on perfect waves where instructors will help us catch the rhythm. Later we relax at a terrace overlooking the ocean and enjoy a spectacular sunset. In the evening we return to the villa for stories and drinks on the terrace.

Day 3 – Walking above the Atlantic

The morning is free for a relaxing yoga session, a swim in the ocean, or time by the pool. In the afternoon, when the light becomes warm and soft, we begin a spectacular cliffside hike between Luz and Lagos. Walking along steep cliffs, the endless ocean horizon rewards every step. We end the day watching an unforgettable sunset above the Atlantic.

Day 4 – SUP in Lagos and secret caves

Today we change tactics and approach the cliffs from the water. We go on a SUP tour in Lagos, paddling through a labyrinth of small bays, hidden caves, and turquoise water. In the afternoon those who want more action can raise their kite for a kitesurf session in Alvor, only 20 minutes away. Alternatively we can explore Silves, an authentic town and former Islamic capital of the Algarve.

Day 5 – Off-road adrenaline

Engines at full throttle! We jump into buggies or ATVs for a high-adrenaline off-road adventure. We explore the hills and hidden areas around Albufeira, discovering the wild and untamed side of the Algarve. The second part of the day is dedicated to relaxing at the beach or kitesurfing if conditions allow.

Day 6 – Chill Day

If the wind is strong and you chose kitesurfing, Lagos and Alvor are right next to us — the perfect moment to launch your kite into the sky. In the evening we relax our muscles with a sunset yoga session.

Day 7 – The final challenge and farewell sunset

Our final full day! We have our last surf session, facing the Atlantic waves alongside instructors. The rest of the day is free: beach time, relaxation, or exploring the old town of Lagos. In the evening the sunset gathers us on a quiet beach for a final yoga session and a farewell celebration.

Day 8 – Return home

We wake up slowly, drink one last coffee on the terrace, and say goodbye to the village of Luz. We get into the rental cars and drive back to Faro Airport, marking the end of our expedition. We return home stronger, full of energy, and with the promise that this adventure was only the beginning.

DIFFICULTY

Medium. Activities require physical involvement but are accessible to anyone who enjoys an active holiday. Trails are not technical and are completed at a pace adapted to the group.

Included: place in a double room (each with private bathroom) in a luxury private villa with a pool located in Luz.

MEALS

Breakfast is not included. All meals are on your own account. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen where we can cook together, and Luz and Lagos are full of taverns serving delicious local dishes.
